The Great Indian Railway
1996, 90mins, Directed by William Livingston for National Geographic Films
This is a film about India told by following the path of the Indian Railway. Frank's music for this film, filled with gorgeous Indian flute of Mitch Greenberg strings, tabla and clay drums give it the dramatic feel that the massive, now extinct "Black Beauty" steam locomotives deserves. Frank combines the music and instruments of the East and West to create a score that stands on its own. A CD of this score is planned.
